Mometasone furoate 0.1% w/w + Salicylic acid 5% w/w (ointment)

Uses of Momecos S Oint

Treatment of inflammatory and itchy skin conditions responsive to corticosteroids with scaling/thickened skin, such as psoriasis, eczema/dermatitis with hyperkeratosis

• •Reduces inflammation in steroid-responsive dermatoses
• •Helps remove scales and thickened skin
• •Improves penetration of steroid in hyperkeratotic lesions

How it works

Mometasone is a topical corticosteroid that reduces inflammation, redness and itching by suppressing local immune and inflammatory mediators. Salicylic acid is a keratolytic that softens and removes scales by breaking down keratin, improving penetration of mometasone into thickened skin.

Directions for use

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area once daily or as directed by a doctor; rub in gently. Preferably apply on clean, dry skin; avoid occlusive dressings unless advised. Do not use on face, groin, armpits or broken/infected skin unless prescribed; wash hands after use.
