Benefits of Neugaba Mn Tablet

In Nerve pain
Neugaba Mn calms over-active nerves so the burning, shooting and electric-shock pains of nerve damage ease. Relief builds over one to two weeks.
In Diabetic neuropathy
Neugaba Mn eases the burning, tingling and numbness in the feet and hands caused by diabetic nerve damage, improving sleep and comfort.
In Pain after shingles
Neugaba Mn relieves the persistent, sensitive pain that can linger in the skin after a shingles rash has healed.
In Fibromyalgia
Neugaba Mn reduces the widespread pain and improves the sleep disturbance of fibromyalgia.
In Epilepsy
Neugaba Mn steadies the electrical activity in the brain, reducing how often seizures occur when taken alongside other anti-epileptic medicines.
In Depression
Neugaba Mn restores the balance of the brain's chemical messengers, gradually lifting mood, energy, sleep and appetite. The benefit builds over several weeks, which is why it is important to keep taking it.
In Anxiety
Neugaba Mn calms persistent worry and the physical tension that goes with it, so that everyday situations feel manageable again.
In Obsessive compulsive disorder
Neugaba Mn reduces the intrusive thoughts and the urge to repeat rituals, usually alongside talking therapy.
In Migraine prevention
Neugaba Mn, taken every day, reduces how often migraines come and how severe they are. It does not treat an attack once it has started.
In Vitamin B deficiency
Neugaba Mn restores the B vitamins your body needs to turn food into energy and to keep nerves and blood cells healthy, correcting the deficiency behind symptoms such as tiredness, sore tongue and pins and needles.
In Nerve pain and tingling
Neugaba Mn supplies the vitamins nerves need to repair their protective covering, which over weeks can ease the burning, tingling and numbness of nerve damage.
In Anaemia
Neugaba Mn gives the bone marrow the B12 and folate it needs to make healthy red blood cells, correcting the anaemia and the tiredness and breathlessness that come with it.
In Tiredness due to deficiency
Neugaba Mn corrects a lack of B vitamins, which is a common and easily missed reason for feeling drained. Energy returns as the stores are rebuilt.

How Neugaba Mn Tablet works

This medicine combines 3 active ingredients: Pregabalin, Nortriptyline and Methylcobalamin. Pregabalin calms the over-active nerve signals that cause burning, shooting and tingling pain. Nortriptyline restores the balance of the chemical messengers in the brain that regulate mood, sleep and the way pain is felt. Methylcobalamin replaces a B vitamin your body needs to make red blood cells, to keep nerves healthy and to release energy from food.

How to take Neugaba Mn Tablet

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it with or without food. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.

If you take too much

An overdose of this medicine can cause deep drowsiness, confusion, unsteadiness and slowed breathing, especially with an opioid or alcohol. It can cause fits, dangerous heart rhythm disturbance and coma, and is particularly dangerous with the older tricyclic medicines. It is unlikely to cause serious harm, because the body passes surplus B vitamins out in the urine. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Side effects of Neugaba Mn Tablet

Most side effects of Neugaba Mn are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:

  • Drowsiness
  • Dizziness
  • Swelling of the ankles and feet
  • Weight gain
  • Blurred vision
  • Unsteadiness
  • Nausea
  • Dry mouth
  • Drowsiness or difficulty sleeping
  • Headache
  • Weight change
  • Reduced sexual desire
  • Constipation
  • Stomach upset
  • Harmless bright yellow urine
  • Loose motions

Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

This medicine causes drowsiness and unsteadiness, particularly when you start it or the dose goes up. Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you. Never stop it suddenly. Stopping abruptly can cause anxiety, sleeplessness, sweating and, in people taking it for epilepsy, fits. Your doctor will taper it. Tell your doctor about any change in mood or any thoughts of harming yourself. The dose is usually built up slowly from a low starting point — follow the schedule your doctor gave you rather than jumping to the full dose. Pregabalin comes under Schedule H1 from 16 November 2026 and will then need a prescription and a pharmacy register entry. These medicines take two to four weeks to begin working, and longer for the full effect. Stopping at two weeks because nothing has changed is the commonest mistake. Never stop suddenly. Abrupt withdrawal causes dizziness, electric-shock sensations, irritability and flu-like symptoms — your doctor will reduce the dose gradually. Tell your doctor or go to hospital immediately if thoughts of harming yourself appear or worsen, particularly in the first weeks or after a dose change, and especially in anyone under twenty-five. Seek urgent care for agitation with fever, shivering, a racing heart, muscle twitching or confusion, particularly if more than one medicine affecting serotonin is being taken. Side effects are usually worst in the first fortnight and then settle. Tingling, numbness or burning in the hands and feet should be assessed by a doctor rather than self-treated — a supplement does not address the cause. Folic acid can mask a vitamin B12 deficiency while nerve damage continues, so B12 should be checked before taking folic acid long term. Bright yellow urine after a B-complex dose is expected and harmless.

Do not take Neugaba Mn if

Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. Must not be combined with a monoamine oxidase inhibitor, or started within the gap your doctor specifies after one.

Interactions with other medicines

Opioid painkillers, alcohol, sleeping tablets and antihistamines all add to the drowsiness, and the combination with opioids can dangerously slow breathing. Antacids reduce the absorption of gabapentin — separate them by a couple of hours. Tramadol, triptans for migraine, linezolid, St John's wort and other antidepressants can together raise serotonin dangerously. Anti-inflammatory painkillers and blood thinners increase the bleeding risk when combined with this group. Long-term metformin, acid-reducing medicines and some anti-epileptics lower B12 or folate levels. Tell your doctor if you take levodopa, as vitamin B6 can reduce its effect.

How to store Neugaba Mn Tablet

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.

Quick tips for Neugaba Mn Tablet

  • Take the larger part of the dose at night if drowsiness is a problem.
  • Rise slowly from sitting or lying, especially in the first weeks.
  • Keep your review appointment so the dose can be adjusted to the lowest that controls your pain.
  • Give it a fair trial of several weeks, and keep your review appointments.
  • Take it at the same time each day.
  • At night if it makes you drowsy, in the morning if it disturbs sleep.
  • Talking therapy alongside medicine works better than either alone for most people.
  • A supplement corrects a deficiency; it is not a general energy tonic.

People taking Neugaba Mn are often asked to check these from time to time. Your doctor decides which and how often.
