Not for anyone with a history of dependence, except under specialist supervision. Not for people with glaucoma, urinary retention, or a blockage of the gut.

Interactions with other medicines

May interact with ketoconazole, warfarin, and certain antacids.

Store at room temperature (15-25°C) in a cool, dry place away from light and moisture.

Normaxin RT Capsule is prescribed to give relief from the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome. If you are due to have an operation or any dental treatment, let your doctor carrying out the treatment know that you are taking Normaxin RT Capsule. This is because it increases the effects of some anesthetics. Inform your doctor if you have an enlarged prostate gland, glaucoma, or trouble passing urine. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you are 65 or older, use Normaxin RT Capsule with care. You could have more side effects. If you develop any new symptoms, or if your symptoms get worse, make an appointment to see your doctor for further advice.
