Uses of O-Anxit

O Anxit 0.5 mg/10 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of depression.

How it works

O Anxit 0.5 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Flupenthixol and Melitracen. Flupenthixol is a typical antipsychotic. It works by blocking the action of dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that affects thoughts and mood. Melitracen is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating the mood and treat depression.

Directions for use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. O Anxit 0.5 mg/10 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
