P.K. Anticid Mint is used for relief from acidity, heartburn, indigestion (dyspepsia), sour belching and gas.

Antacid formulations work by neutralizing excess stomach acid and reducing irritation of the stomach and food pipe. This provides quick symptomatic relief from burning sensation and discomfort due to hyperacidity.
Oral liquid. Shake well before use. Take the recommended dose as directed on the label/physician; typically after meals and at bedtime. Can be taken with or without food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of P.K. Anticid Mint as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more P.K. Anticid Mint than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of P.K. Anticid Mint are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

If symptoms persist beyond 7–14 days, or if you have severe abdominal pain, vomiting, blood in stool/vomit, or unexplained weight loss, consult a doctor. Use with caution in kidney disease, on low-phosphate diet, or if prone to electrolyte imbalance. Do not exceed the labeled dose. Keep a gap of at least 2 hours from other medicines unless advised.
May reduce absorption of tetracyclines, fluoroquinolones, iron, levothyroxine, bisphosphonates, itraconazole/ketoconazole, digoxin; separate dosing by 2–4 hours.
Store at room temperature (below 25°C), away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
