How Pregalin SR 75 works
Pregalin NT 75mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Pregabalin and Nortriptyline. Pregabalin is an alpha 2 delta ligand which decreases the pain by modulating calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Nortriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the levels of chemical messengers (serotonin and noradrenaline) that stop the movement of pain signals in the brain. Together, they relieve neuropathic pain (pain from damaged nerves).
How to take Pregalin SR 75
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pregalin NT 75mg/10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Missed dose and overdose
If you miss a dose
Take the missed dose of Pregalin SR as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
