Treatment of major depressive disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder, premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD)

How it works

Sertraline is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI). It increases serotonin levels in the brain by inhibiting its reuptake at nerve endings, helping improve mood and reduce anxiety and obsessive symptoms.

Directions for use

Take orally exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow tablet whole with water; do not stop suddenly—dose should be tapered under medical supervision.
