Uses of Silodal M 25 Tab

Treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) associated with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and overactive bladder symptoms such as urinary frequency, urgency and urge incontinence.

How it works

Silodosin is a selective alpha-1A adrenergic blocker that relaxes smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, improving urine flow and reducing BPH symptoms. Mirabegron is a beta-3 adrenergic agonist that relaxes the detrusor muscle during the storage phase, increasing bladder capacity and reducing urgency and frequency.

Directions for use

Take by mouth exactly as prescribed by the doctor, usually once daily. Preferably take at the same time each day; silodosin-containing products are commonly advised to be taken with food to reduce side effects. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew.
