Uses of Silosam D8 Tab

Treatment of signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) such as difficulty in urination, weak urine stream, frequent urination, and incomplete bladder emptying.

• •Reduces difficulty and straining during urination
• •Decreases frequency and urgency of urination
• •Helps reduce feeling of incomplete bladder emptying

How it works

Silodosin is a selective alpha-1A adrenergic receptor blocker that relaxes smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder neck. This reduces resistance to urine flow and improves urinary symptoms associated with BPH.

Directions for use

Take as directed by the physician, usually once daily after the same meal each day. Swallow the tablet/capsule whole with water; do not crush or chew. If a dose is missed, take it the next day at the usual time (do not double the dose).
