Treatment of Fungal skin infections
SKZ 2% Cream is an antifungal medication that treats skin infections. It works by killing the fungi on the skin by destroying their cell membrane.
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the cream. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of SKZ 2% Cream, apply it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule.
Taking more Skz than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Skz are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Skz. Some combinations can change how Skz works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly before applying SKZ 2% Cream. Use just enough to cover the infected skin and a small area around it. Always wash your hands after applying to avoid spreading the infection. Wear clean cotton socks and loose-fitting shoes to help with healing if treating athlete’s foot. Avoid bandages or tight dressings on the treated area unless your doctor advises. Use a separate towel for the affected area and wash clothes, socks, and towels regularly.
