Tapal D Qps Spray 30 ml

Tapal-D QPS Spray is a combination of four medicines: Diclofenac diethylamine, Methyl Salicylate, Menthol, and Alcohol. Diclofenac diethylamine and Methyl Salicylate are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Menthol dilates the blood vessels causing a sensation of coldness, followed by an analgesic effect. Menthol also acts as a penetration enhancer, increasing the penetration of drugs when applied on the skin, to give a faster onset of action. Alcohol acts as an analgesic and anesthetic and can reduce the sensation of both physical and emotional pain.

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Tapal-D QPS Spray, use it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule.

If you take too much

Taking more Tapal D Qps than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Tapal D Qps. Some combinations can change how Tapal D Qps works or raise the chance of side effects.

Store Tapal D Qps below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.

Tapal-D QPS Spray is prescribed to give relief from pain and inflammation due to strains, sprains, backache, or arthritis. Do not apply Tapal-D QPS Spray to large areas of skin or near sensitive areas such as private parts or on broken or injured skin. It is important that you don't cover any area of skin treated with the gel with any dressings or bandages unless advised by the doctor. Remember to wash your hands after applying Tapal-D QPS Spray, unless this is the area being treated. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, nose, and rinse thoroughly in case of accidental contact or seek medical help in case of swallowing. Do not smoke or go near naked flames as Tapal-D QPS Spray increases the risk of severe burns. Tapal-D QPS Spray may cause your skin to become more sensitive to sunlight than normal. Do not use sunbeds, and protect any treated areas from strong sunlight until you know how your skin reacts. Inform your doctor if you have any skin disorders like eczema or psoriasis.
