Thank OD Forte Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Euphorbia Prostrata Extract and Calcium Dobesilate, which treats piles. Together, they work on the walls of the small blood vessels and reduce their leakage and fragility. How to take Thank OD Forte

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Thank OD Forte Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Thank OD Forte Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

An overdose of this medicine may cause bloating and loose motions. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.

Warnings and precautions

Loose motions with high fever, blood in the stool or severe abdominal pain need a doctor, not a home remedy. Oral rehydration salts and fluids matter more than any medicine when you have loose motions — dehydration is the real danger, especially in children and older people. Take a probiotic a couple of hours apart from an antibiotic so the antibiotic does not simply kill it. Do not use an anti-motility medicine such as loperamide if you have a fever or blood in the stool.

A fiber-rich diet (wholegrain bread and cereals, fruit and green leafy vegetables) with six to eight full glasses of water each day and daily exercise are important in maintaining healthy bowel function. Do not take any other laxative along with Thank OD Forte Tablet without consulting your doctor. Sometimes certain medicines like iron tablets, antibiotics might cause constipation. Inform your doctor if you are taking any of them.
