Loteprednol etabonate (0.5% w/v) + Tobramycin (0.3% w/v)
Bacterial eye infections such as conjunctivitis, blepharitis, keratitis and other susceptible external ocular infections
Tobramycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit. This stops bacterial growth and leads to bacterial cell death in susceptible organisms.
For ophthalmic use only. Instill 1–2 drops into the affected eye(s) as prescribed, usually every 4–6 hours; in severe infections dosing may be more frequent initially. Wash hands before use, avoid touching the dropper tip, and remove contact lenses before instillation (reinsert after 15 minutes if advised).

Use only for bacterial infections; do not use in viral/fungal eye infections unless prescribed. Prolonged use may cause overgrowth of non-susceptible organisms including fungi. Stop and seek medical help if signs of allergy occur (rash, severe swelling, breathing difficulty). Use caution in patients with known hypersensitivity to aminoglycosides; cross-sensitivity may occur. If symptoms worsen or do not improve within a few days, consult an eye specialist. Avoid contaminating the dropper; do not share the bottle. Temporary blurred vision may occur—avoid driving until vision clears.
