Tofacitinib (5mg)

Uses of Tofasure 5MG Tab

Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (moderate to severe) in adults, psoriatic arthritis in adults, ulcerative colitis (moderate to severe) in adults (as prescribed by specialist)

• •Reduces joint pain and swelling in rheumatoid arthritis
• •Improves physical function and slows inflammatory damage
• •Helps control symptoms in psoriatic arthritis
• •Induces/maintains remission in ulcerative colitis (as prescribed)

How it works

Tofacitinib is a Janus kinase (JAK) inhibitor. It blocks JAK-mediated signaling of inflammatory cytokines, thereby reducing immune activation, inflammation, pain, and joint/intestinal symptoms.

Directions for use

Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor, usually 5 mg once or twice daily depending on indication. Can be taken with or without food; swallow whole with water at the same time each day. Do not stop or change dose without medical advice.
