How Tolpa Nano Gel works

Tolpa Nano Gel is a combination of four medicines: Diclofenac diethylamine, Linseed Oil, Methyl Salicylate and Menthol. Diclofenac diethylamine and Menthol are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) which work by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Linseed Oil is a plant-based oil which further reduces inflammation and improves blood circulation at the site of application. It also increases the penetration of Diclofenac diethylamine through the skin. Methyl Salicylate produces a cooling effect on the skin.

How to take Tolpa Nano Gel

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Tolpa Nano Gel, use it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule.

If you take too much

Taking more Tolpa Nano than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Most side effects of Tolpa Nano are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Tolpa Nano Gel is prescribed to get relief from pain. Apply 2-3 times daily or as prescribed by the doctor. Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, nose and rinse thoroughly in case of accidental contact or seek medical help in case of swallowing. Avoid applying Tolpa Nano Gel right after bathing or shaving. Using this medication on freshly shaved skin areas can cause severe skin irritation. Consult your doctor if you get excessive skin irritation or other unwanted effects.
