Tretiva 30 Capsule is used in the treatment of acne.
Tretiva 30 Capsule works by slowing the production of certain natural substances that can cause acne.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tretiva 30 Capsule is to be taken with food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Tretiva-30 as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Tretiva-30 than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Tretiva-30 are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

| Kidney | Tretiva 30 Capsule is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Tretiva 30 Capsule may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.<br/>If you experience excessive tiredness, puffy eyes and difficulty in urination while taking this medicine, inform your doctor and stop the therapy. |
| Liver | Tretiva 30 Capsule is probably unsafe to use in patients with liver disease and should be avoided. Please consult your doctor. |

Store Tretiva-30 below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
