Isotretinoin (10mg)
Treatment of severe, recalcitrant nodular acne (acne conglobata) or acne not responding to adequate courses of standard therapy including systemic antibiotics
Isotretinoin is an oral retinoid that markedly reduces sebum production and shrinks sebaceous glands. It also normalizes follicular keratinization and has anti-inflammatory effects, thereby reducing acne lesions.
Take exactly as prescribed by a dermatologist. Usually taken once or twice daily with food (preferably a fatty meal) to improve absorption; swallow whole with water. Follow the full course and required pregnancy prevention program; do not share medicine.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Tufacne 10MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
