This makes it less likely that you will suffer the symptoms and make them milder if you do have them. It is usually for long-term treatment and should be taken regularly until the dose is completed.

How it works

Uricostat 40 Tablet is a xanthine oxidase inhibitor. It works by decreasing blood uric acid, which is the chemical that causes gout.

Directions for use

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Uricostat 40 Tablet may be taken with or without food.
