How Vertin OD 24 works

Vertin OD 24mg Tablet SR is a histamine analog. It works by improving the blood flow in the inner ear which reduces the pressure of excess fluid there. Excess fluid can send signals to the brain causing nausea, dizziness or spinning sensations (symptoms of Ménière's disease). Vertin OD 24mg Tablet SR additionally dampens down the nerve signals sent from the inner ear to the brain relieving the symptoms of Ménière's disease.

How to take Vertin OD 24

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Vertin OD 24mg Tablet SR may be taken with or without food.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

If you miss a dose of Vertin OD 24mg Tablet SR, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

If you take too much
