Uses of XEFPODOX 100 TAB

Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as acute bacterial sinusitis, pharyngitis/tonsillitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia (mild), uncomplicated urinary tract infections, and skin/soft tissue infections.

How it works

Cefpodoxime is a third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins, leading to cell lysis and death of susceptible bacteria.

Directions for use

Take as prescribed by a doctor. Usually taken orally with food to improve absorption; swallow whole with water. Complete the full course even if you feel better; do not skip doses.
