Salicylic Acid (2%)
Foaming face wash/cleanser used as an adjunct in acne-prone and oily skin to cleanse excess oil, dirt and impurities and help reduce breakouts.
A medicated/dermocosmetic foam wash cleanses the skin by removing excess sebum, debris and surface microbes from pores. Regular cleansing helps keep pores clear and supports acne-control regimens.
For external use only. Wet face/affected area, take a small amount of foam wash, gently massage for 20–30 seconds, then rinse thoroughly with water. Use 1–2 times daily or as directed by a dermatologist. Avoid contact with eyes and broken skin.
Common side effects of Zitcare Foam Wash may include:
For external use only. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, swelling or allergic reaction occurs. Avoid contact with eyes; rinse with plenty of water if it occurs. Use with caution on very sensitive or eczematous skin; do not apply on deep wounds. If used along with other acne medicines, excessive dryness/irritation may occur—adjust frequency as advised.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Zitcare Foam Wash. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
