Pain relief Treatment of Fever
Zupar 400mg/325mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ibuprofen and Paracetamol. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zupar 400mg/325mg Tablet should be taken with or after food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Zupar 400mg/325mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Zupar than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Zupar are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Zupar. Some combinations can change how Zupar works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Zupar below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
You have been prescribed this combination medicine to relieve pain, inflammation, and fever. Take it with food to avoid getting an upset stomach. Take it as per the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Long-term use may lead to stomach bleeding and kidney problems. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Zupar 400mg/325mg Tablet as it may cause excessive drowsiness and increase the risk of liver damage. Do not take it with any other medicine containing paracetamol (drugs for pain/fever or cough and cold) without asking your doctor first.
