Cetirizine (10mg)
Relief of symptoms of allergic rhinitis (sneezing, runny/blocked nose, itchy/watery eyes) and urticaria (hives), itching and other allergic skin conditions.
Cetirizine is a second-generation antihistamine. It blocks histamine (H1) receptors, reducing allergy symptoms such as itching, sneezing, and watery eyes with relatively less sedation than older antihistamines.
Tablet for oral use. Take as directed by a doctor, usually once daily; may be taken with or without food. Swallow with water; take at the same time each day. Avoid exceeding the recommended dose.
Common side effects of Zyncet Tab 10S may include:
May cause drowsiness in some people—avoid driving or operating machinery if affected. Use with caution in kidney impairment; dose adjustment may be needed. Consult a doctor before use in children, elderly, or if you have liver disease. Stop and seek medical help if signs of severe allergy occur (swelling, breathing difficulty).

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Zyncet Tab 10S. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
