Do not take Cetzine if
Not for anyone with a known allergy to this medicine or to any ingredient in the pack. The sedating antihistamines are not suitable for very young children, or for people with glaucoma or an enlarged prostate, without medical advice.

Alcohol, sleeping tablets and other sedating medicines add to the drowsiness. Tell your doctor about all cold and cough preparations — many already contain an antihistamine.
How to store Cetzine Tablet
Store in a cool, dry place.

Stop taking Cetzine Tablet at least three days before undergoing an allergy test, as it can affect the test results. Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine, as alcohol can increase sleepiness. Discontinuing the medicine after prolonged use (several months) may lead to a temporary recurrence of itching, which may persist for a few days before settling. If you feel sleepy, you may take your dose in the evening (around 8–9 PM) after speaking with your doctor. If you have kidney disease or reduced kidney function, you may require a lower dose. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine. If you have a history of seizures, use this medicine with caution and consult your doctor before taking it. If hives (urticaria) do not improve within 3 days, consult your doctor.
