A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Zyrova 20 mg Tablet. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Zyrova 20 mg Tablet contains Bempedoic acid (180mg) + Rosuvastatin (20mg).
Treatment of High cholesterol
Zyrova B 180mg/20mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines. Bempedoic acid inhibits an enzyme called adenosine triphosphate-citrate lyase (ACL) and blocks the production of cholesterol in the liver. Rosuvastatin blocks an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase and slows the production of cholesterol in the body to decrease the amount of cholesterol that may build up on the walls of the arteries and block blood flow to the heart, brain, and other parts of the body.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Zyrova B 180mg/20mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Zyrova B 180mg/20mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Zyrova than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Zyrova are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Zyrova. Some combinations can change how Zyrova works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Zyrova below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
Inform your doctor if you experience fatigue, muscle weakness, or muscle pain. Inform your doctor if you notice signs of liver problems, such as stomach pains, unusually dark urine, or yellowing of skin or eyes. They may check your liver function before starting the treatment and regularly thereafter. If you are diabetic, monitor your blood sugar level regularly, as Zyrova B 180mg/20mg Tablet may increase your blood sugar level. Lifestyle changes, like a low-fat and salt diet, exercise, not smoking, and cutting down on the amount of alcohol you normally drink, may help this medicine work better.
