Angiplat-2.5 mg Capsule contains Nitroglycerin (2.5mg) and is used for angina (heart-related chest pain). Prescription required.

Angina (heart-related chest pain)

Angiplat 2.5 Capsule TR is a nitrate. It works by relaxing the blood vessels and increasing the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart while reducing its workload, thereby preventing/treating attacks of angina (chest pain).

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Angiplat 2.5 Capsule TR may be taken with or without food.

Dizziness, Headache, Tiredness, Nausea, Palpitations

Do not stop or change the dose of a heart medicine on your own. Report fainting, a very slow or very fast pulse, or new breathlessness. Keep every follow-up appointment — most of these medicines need periodic blood tests or an ECG.

Heart medicines interact widely. Tell your doctor and pharmacist about everything you take, including herbal products.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
