Anorelief Cream

Anorelief Cream contains Lidocaine (1.5% w/w) + Nifedipine (0.3% w/w) and is used for anal fissure. Prescription required.

Treatment of Anal fissure

Anorelief Cream is a combination of two medicines: Lidocaine and Nifedipine. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases pain sensation. Nifedipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). It works in anal fissure by blocking the action of calcium on blood vessels of anus.

This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use on open wounds or severe burns. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist.

No significant interactions are expected. Grapefruit juice raises the level of some of these medicines in the blood — avoid it. Tell your doctor about other blood pressure medicines, and about simvastatin in particular.

Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture.
