Nutritional supplementation to prevent or treat vitamin B-complex deficiency; supportive therapy in weakness, fatigue, poor diet, recovery from illness, and mouth ulcers due to deficiency.
Vitamin B-complex vitamins act as essential co-factors in carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism, helping convert food into energy. They also support nerve function and red blood cell formation, and help maintain healthy skin and mucosa.
Capsule: take as directed by physician. Commonly 1 capsule once daily after food; swallow whole with water. Do not exceed recommended dose.
nausea, stomach upset, vomiting, diarrhea, headache, flushing, dark yellow urine (riboflavin), allergic rash
Do not use if allergic to any component. Use with caution in severe liver disease or peptic ulcer symptoms. If symptoms persist despite supplementation, seek medical advice to rule out other causes. Some B vitamins may interfere with certain lab tests; inform your doctor/lab.
