Bemezy Tablet

Bemezy Tablet contains Bempedoic acid (180mg) + Ezetimibe (10mg) and is used for high cholesterol. Prescription required.

Treatment of High cholesterol

bemEZY 180mg/10mg Tablet is a combination of two different medications used to lower cholesterol levels. Bempedoic acid inhibits an enzyme called ATP citrate lyase involved in cholesterol synthesis in the liver. Whereas, ezetimibe blocks the absorption of cholesterol from the small intestine. These actions together result in lower amounts of cholesterol in the body.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. bemEZY 180mg/10mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness — especially with fever or dark urine — without waiting for your next appointment. Your doctor will check your liver with a blood test before starting and from time to time afterwards. Cholesterol medicines work silently; you will not feel their benefit, and that is not a reason to stop. Tell your doctor if you develop new or worsening diabetes symptoms.

Grapefruit juice raises the level of some statins — avoid it. Certain antibiotics, antifungals and fibrates increase the risk of muscle damage when combined.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
