This medicine is used in the treatment of dry skin, eczema, skin barrier repair, itching due to dryness, liver disorders, fatty liver, support of liver function, high triglycerides, dietary supplementation, heart health support, vitamin b deficiency, nerve pain and tingling, anaemia, tiredness due to deficiency, protein supplementation, nutritional support and recovery and convalescence.

This medicine combines 9 active ingredients: D-panthenol, Silymarin, L-ornithine L-aspartate, Lecithin, Tricholine Citrate, Inositol, Folic Acid, Taurine and Methionine. D-panthenol holds water in the skin and restores the barrier that dry, damaged skin has lost. Silymarin supports the liver cells and helps the flow of bile. L-ornithine L-aspartate supports the liver cells and helps the flow of bile. Lecithin supplies omega-3 fatty acids, which help lower blood triglyceride levels. Tricholine Citrate supports the liver cells and helps the flow of bile. Inositol replaces a B vitamin your body needs to make red blood cells, to keep nerves healthy and to release energy from food. Folic Acid replaces a B vitamin your body needs to make red blood cells, to keep nerves healthy and to release energy from food. Taurine supplies protein and amino acids, the building blocks your body uses to repair and maintain muscle and tissue. Methionine supplies protein and amino acids, the building blocks your body uses to repair and maintain muscle and tissue.

Shake the bottle well before each dose and measure it with the cup, spoon or dropper supplied — a kitchen spoon is not an accurate measure. Take it with or after food. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Apply generously and often — several times a day, and always within a few minutes of a bath while the skin is still damp. Some paraffin-based emollients are flammable when they soak into clothing and bedding. Keep away from open flames and cigarettes. Stop if the skin becomes more red, itchy or sore after use. A liver supplement does not treat the cause of liver disease. Alcohol, weight, viral hepatitis and medicines are what have to be addressed. Stop alcohol completely if you have any liver condition. Report yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine, swelling of the abdomen or confusion without delay. Keep your liver function tests and follow-up appointments. Tell your doctor if you take a blood thinner — high doses of omega-3 can add to its effect. Check the source if you have a fish or shellfish allergy. Tingling, numbness or burning in the hands and feet should be assessed by a doctor rather than self-treated — a supplement does not address the cause. Folic acid can mask a vitamin B12 deficiency while nerve damage continues, so B12 should be checked before taking folic acid long term. Bright yellow urine after a B-complex dose is expected and harmless. Tell your doctor before taking a protein supplement if you have kidney disease — the protein load matters. Drink plenty of water while taking a protein supplement. Check the label for milk or soy if you have an allergy or are lactose intolerant.

No significant interactions are expected. Tell your doctor about every medicine and supplement you take — the liver processes most of them. May add to the effect of blood thinners and antiplatelet medicines. Long-term metformin, acid-reducing medicines and some anti-epileptics lower B12 or folate levels. Tell your doctor if you take levodopa, as vitamin B6 can reduce its effect. No significant medicine interactions are expected for most protein supplements.
