Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow with water; do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

Do not use in pregnancy; stop and seek medical help if swelling of face/lips/tongue (angioedema) occurs. Use with caution in kidney disease, liver disease, dehydration/diuretic use, low blood pressure, heart valve disease, and in the elderly. Monitor blood pressure, kidney function and potassium especially after starting or dose changes. Avoid potassium supplements/salt substitutes unless advised.
Potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics (spironolactone, eplerenone, amiloride), other antihypertensives/diuretics (may cause excessive BP fall), NSAIDs (ibuprofen/diclofenac—reduced effect and kidney risk), lithium (toxicity risk), ARBs/aliskiren (higher risk of kidney issues/hyperkalaemia), sacubitril/valsartan (angioedema risk—washout required), trimethoprim (hyperkalaemia risk)
