Used as a nutritional supplement to help manage carnitine deficiency and support energy metabolism; may be used as adjuvant support for fatigue/weakness as advised by a clinician.

Carnitine helps transport long-chain fatty acids into mitochondria where they are converted into energy (beta-oxidation). Supplementation supports cellular energy production, especially when dietary intake or endogenous synthesis is inadequate.

Take as directed by physician/dietitian. Usually taken orally with water, preferably after food to reduce gastric upset. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea, heartburn, fishy body odour

Consult a doctor before use if you have kidney disease, seizure disorder, thyroid problems, or are on long-term medications. Stop and seek medical advice if you develop rash, severe stomach upset, or worsening seizures. Nutraceutical supplements are not a substitute for a balanced diet.

Warfarin/other anticoagulants (may affect INR), thyroid hormone (may reduce effect), valproate/other anti-seizure medicines (use under medical supervision)

Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight and moisture. Keep the container tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
