Lancets create a controlled small puncture in the skin to obtain a capillary blood drop. Single-use sterile design helps reduce infection risk when used properly.

Use with a compatible lancing device if applicable. Load a new lancet, prick the side of fingertip, dispose safely in a sharps container; do not reuse or share.

Pain at puncture site, minor bleeding, bruising, local infection if reused or hygiene is poor

Single-use only; reusing increases infection risk and makes pricks more painful (blunted needle). Keep away from children. Dispose as per biomedical waste/sharps guidance.

Store in a clean, dry place at room temperature; keep sterile packs sealed until use; protect from moisture.
