Painful inflammatory conditions of the mouth such as mouth ulcers (aphthous ulcers), gingivitis, sore gums, stomatitis, teething pain, irritation due to dentures/braces
Choline salicylate is an anti-inflammatory analgesic that reduces pain, swelling and inflammation in oral tissues. Lignocaine is a local anaesthetic that temporarily numbs the affected area by blocking nerve signal transmission.
For dental/oral use only. Apply a small amount on the affected area with a clean finger/cotton bud and gently massage. Use 2–3 times daily or as directed by a doctor/dentist; preferably after meals and at bedtime. Avoid eating/drinking for about 30 minutes after application and do not swallow.
Temporary burning/stinging, numbness, altered taste, local irritation/redness, allergic reaction (rash/swelling)
Do not use if allergic to salicylates/aspirin, lignocaine or other local anaesthetics. Avoid applying on large areas, broken mucosa extensively, or for prolonged periods without medical advice. Use with caution in children (risk of swallowing), bleeding disorders, peptic ulcer disease, asthma sensitive to NSAIDs, and patients on anticoagulants. Stop and seek medical help if severe irritation, swelling, difficulty breathing, or ulcers persist beyond 7 days.
Anticoagulants/antiplatelets (e.g., warfarin, clopidogrel) may increase bleeding risk with salicylates; other NSAIDs/aspirin; methotrexate; lithium; other local anaesthetics (additive toxicity)
