Medical device used for pre-operative skin preparation and hair removal at/around the surgical site to reduce infection risk and improve dressing adherence

A surgical skin prep blade is designed to safely trim hair close to the skin with minimal irritation compared with conventional shaving. Proper hair removal helps reduce contamination and improves visibility and antiseptic application before procedures.

Use by trained personnel as per hospital protocol. Clean the area, hold skin taut and gently remove hair in the direction of growth; avoid causing cuts. Dispose of as per biomedical waste rules; single-use if labeled so by manufacturer.

Skin irritation, minor cuts/abrasions, redness

For external use only. Do not use on broken/infected skin unless directed by clinician. Use aseptic technique to avoid cross-contamination; do not share between patients. Stop if significant bleeding or rash occurs.

Store in a clean, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep in original packaging until use.
