Febrinest-DS Suspension

Febrinest-Ds Suspension contains Paracetamol (250mg/5ml) and is used for febrinest 250 mg/5ml.

Febrinest 250 mg/5ml Syrup is used for pain relief and fever. It is used to relieve pain in conditions like headache, joint pain, muscle pain or dental pain.

Febrinest 250 mg/5ml Syrup is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Febrinest 250 mg/5ml Syrup is to be taken with food.

No common side effects seen

Never exceed the daily maximum printed on the pack. Paracetamol overdose damages the liver, and the damage can be silent for a day or two before it becomes serious. Check every other medicine you are taking. Paracetamol is in a very large number of cold, flu and pain combinations, and the doses add together. If you drink alcohol regularly, or have liver disease, ask your doctor what daily limit is safe for you. See a doctor if fever lasts more than three days, or pain more than five.

Regular alcohol use increases the risk of liver injury. Tell your doctor if you are on warfarin — regular high-dose paracetamol can affect it.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
