Hadensa Ointment

Hadensa Ointment contains Lanolin (100% w/w) + Lidocaine (1% w/w) + Menthol (1% w/w) + Thymol (0.5% w/w) and is used for this medicine is used. Prescription required.

This medicine is used in the treatment of dry skin, eczema, skin barrier repair, itching due to dryness, minor injuries, wound care, first aid, muscle pain, joint pain, sprains and strains, backache, wound cleaning, minor cuts and grazes and skin disinfection.

This medicine combines 4 active ingredients: Lanolin, Lidocaine, Menthol and Thymol. Lanolin holds water in the skin and restores the barrier that dry, damaged skin has lost. Lidocaine supports the care of a minor injury or wound. Menthol is applied to the skin over a painful area, where it produces a warming or cooling sensation and reduces local pain and inflammation. Thymol kills germs on the skin and in a wound, reducing the chance of infection.

Apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed by a physician. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and open wounds unless advised.

Burning sensation, itching, redness, irritation, dryness

Do not use on broken skin or large areas unless prescribed. Stop use and consult a doctor if rash, swelling, severe irritation or allergic reaction occurs. Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant/breastfeeding or using other skin medicines, consult a doctor before use.

No significant interactions are expected. Topical anti-inflammatory gels add to the effect of the same medicine taken by mouth; tell your doctor if you use both.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light and heat. Keep the cap tightly closed.
