Hadensa Ointment 20 G contains Lanolin (100% w/w) + Lidocaine (1% w/w) + Menthol (1% w/w) + Thymol (0.5% w/w) and is used for piles. Prescription required.
Treatment of Piles
Hadensa Ointment is a combination of four medicines. Lanolin is a skin moisturizer. It keeps the skin moist and makes the stool passing process easy. Lidocaine is an anesthetic agent that numbs the rectum for the painless release of feces. Menthol is also has a numbing effect along with that it provides a cooling sensation to relieve pain. Thymol is an antimicrobial. It kills infection-causing microorganisms to prevent infections. This is how Hadensa Ointment treats the symptoms of plies.
Apply a thin layer to the affected area as directed by a physician. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken skin unless advised.
Application site burning, irritation, redness, itching, dryness, rash
Use only under medical advice if the patient is pregnant/breastfeeding, for children, or if large areas/occlusive dressings are needed. Stop use and seek medical help if severe irritation, swelling, blistering or allergic reaction occurs. Do not use on deep wounds or severe skin infections unless prescribed. Do not share ointment.
No significant interactions are expected. Topical anti-inflammatory gels add to the effect of the same medicine taken by mouth; tell your doctor if you use both.
Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep the tube tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
