Lipirose CV 20 Capsule is a prescription medicine containing Rosuvastatin (20mg) + Clopidogrel (75mg). It is used for heart attack and stroke Prevention of Angina (heart-related chest pain). It belongs to the group of medicines called Statin / lipid modifier and Blood thinner.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Lipirose CV 20 Capsule are muscle aches, headache, nausea and constipation or loose motions. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Lipirose CV 20 Capsule works.

Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Rosuvastatin belongs to the class of statins, a lipid-lowering medication that blocks an enzyme required in the body to make cholesterol. It lowers the "bad" cholesterol (LDL) and triglycerides and raises the "good" cholesterol (HDL). Clopidogrel is a blood thinner that helps prevent blood clots by making platelets less sticky, which can reduce the risk of blockages in the arteries. Together, they help keep the blood flowing smoothly and reduce the risk of heart issues.
Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness — especially with fever or dark urine — without waiting for your next appointment. Your doctor will check your liver with a blood test before starting and from time to time afterwards. Cholesterol medicines work silently; you will not feel their benefit, and that is not a reason to stop. Tell your doctor if you develop new or worsening diabetes symptoms. Seek urgent care for black or tarry stools, blood in the vomit or urine, a severe headache, or bleeding that will not stop. Tell every doctor and dentist treating you that you are on a blood thinner, well before any procedure. Never stop this medicine on your own before surgery or dental work — stopping it carries its own risk, and the decision is your doctor's. Avoid contact sports and take care with razors and sharp tools.
If you miss a dose of Lipirose CV 20 Capsule, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
An overdose of this medicine is unlikely to cause immediate harm but may increase the risk of muscle and liver injury. It can cause serious and difficult-to-control bleeding. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
