Maxolid DS Dry Syrup is used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of lungs (Pneumonia), skin & soft tissues.
Maxolid DS Dry Syrup is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Dissolve the powder in sterile water. Shake well and use. Maxolid DS Dry Syrup may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.<br>Avoid Maxolid DS Dry Syrup with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
