Minoil Scalp Cream

Minoil Scalp Cream contains Urea (10%w/w) + Lactic Acid (2%w/w) + L-Arginine (1%w/w) and is used for this medicine is used.

This medicine is used in the treatment of dry skin, eczema, skin barrier repair, itching due to dryness, skin conditions, skin care, protein supplementation, nutritional support and recovery and convalescence.

This medicine combines 3 active ingredients: Urea, Lactic Acid and L-arginine. Urea holds water in the skin and restores the barrier that dry, damaged skin has lost. Lactic Acid acts on the skin to treat or soothe the condition it is prescribed for. L-arginine supplies protein and amino acids, the building blocks your body uses to repair and maintain muscle and tissue.

Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer and rub it in gently. Wash your hands before and after use, unless your hands are the area being treated. This is for use on the skin only — do not swallow it. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Apply generously and often — several times a day, and always within a few minutes of a bath while the skin is still damp. Some paraffin-based emollients are flammable when they soak into clothing and bedding. Keep away from open flames and cigarettes. Stop if the skin becomes more red, itchy or sore after use. For external use only, unless the pack says otherwise. Stop if the skin becomes more irritated, and see a doctor if the condition worsens or spreads. Do a small test patch first if you have sensitive skin. Tell your doctor before taking a protein supplement if you have kidney disease — the protein load matters. Drink plenty of water while taking a protein supplement. Check the label for milk or soy if you have an allergy or are lactose intolerant.
