Norwayz Tablet is a prescription medicine containing Idebenone (45mg). It is used for Friedreich's ataxia and leberâs hereditary optic neuropathy.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Norwayz Tablet are nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages) Cough Diarrhea Back pain. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Norwayz Tablet works.
Most side effects of Norwayz are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Norwayz Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Idebenone belongs to the class of drugs called as antioxidants (a molecule that prevents oxidation of another molecule). Â It acts by protecting wide variety of cells from oxidative damage thereby increasing production of energy by cells.
