Before you take it
Oflomac-M Suspension may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
Oflomac-M Suspension is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Oflomac-M Suspension may cause symptoms such as flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain and low blood pressure with alcohol (Disulfiram reactions).
Oflomac-M Suspension should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Oflomac-M Suspension may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Oflomac-M Suspension is used in the treatment of diarrhoea and dysentery.
Oflomac-M Suspension is a combination of two antibiotics: Ofloxacin and Metronidazole. Ofloxacin works by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. Metronidazole kills parasites and anaerobic bacteria that cause infections by damaging their DNA. Together, they treat your infection effectively.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Measure it with a measuring cup and take it by mouth. Shake well before use. Oflomac-M Suspension is to be taken with food.<br>Taking it empty stomach can cause stomach upset.
