Monograph
Roseday A 20MG contains Rosuvastatin + Aspirin and is used for this medicine is used. Prescription required.
This medicine is used in the treatment of high cholesterol, prevention of heart attack and stroke, prevention of heart attack, prevention of stroke and blood clots.
This medicine combines 2 active ingredients: Rosuvastatin and Aspirin. Rosuvastatin lowers the amount of bad cholesterol your liver makes and helps clear it from the blood, which slows the furring of your arteries. Aspirin makes your blood less likely to form a clot, which protects the narrowed arteries of the heart and brain.
Use this medicine as your doctor has directed. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.
Muscle aches, Headache, Nausea, Constipation or loose motions, Raised liver enzymes, Bruising easily, Bleeding for longer from cuts, Nosebleeds, Indigestion, Stomach pain
Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness — especially with fever or dark urine — without waiting for your next appointment. Your doctor will check your liver with a blood test before starting and from time to time afterwards. Cholesterol medicines work silently; you will not feel their benefit, and that is not a reason to stop. Tell your doctor if you develop new or worsening diabetes symptoms. Seek urgent care for black or tarry stools, blood in the vomit or urine, a severe headache, or bleeding that will not stop. Tell every doctor and dentist treating you that you are on a blood thinner, well before any procedure. Never stop this medicine on your own before surgery or dental work — stopping it carries its own risk, and the decision is your doctor's. Avoid contact sports and take care with razors and sharp tools. Aspirin must not be given to children or teenagers with a fever or a viral illness — it is linked to Reye's syndrome, a rare but serious condition affecting the brain and liver. Low-dose aspirin for the heart is a lifelong treatment. Do not stop it before surgery or dental work without asking the doctor who prescribed it.
Grapefruit juice raises the level of some statins — avoid it. Certain antibiotics, antifungals and fibrates increase the risk of muscle damage when combined. Anti-inflammatory painkillers, including over-the-counter ones, sharply raise the bleeding risk. Combining two blood thinners multiplies the risk — never add one yourself. Tell your doctor about all herbal products; several affect clotting.
