How It Works
Chlorhexidine damages microbial cell membranes and has broad-spectrum antibacterial action. Cetrimide is a quaternary ammonium antiseptic that disrupts cell membranes and aids cleansing by reducing surface tension, enhancing removal of dirt and microbes.
Directions for Use
For external use only. Wet hands, take an adequate amount, lather well over palms, back of hands, between fingers and under nails for at least 20 seconds, then rinse thoroughly and dry. Use as needed; avoid contact with eyes.
External use only. Avoid contact with eyes; if it occurs, rinse with plenty of water. Do not use on broken or severely irritated skin. Discontinue and seek medical advice if rash, swelling or persistent irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children; not for ingestion.
Drug Interactions
May be inactivated by anionic soaps/detergents if mixed; avoid using concurrently on the same area with other topical antiseptics unless advised.
