Topical antiseptic and skin disinfectant, Cleaning skin before injections/minor procedures, Disinfection of small instruments/surfaces (non-critical use)

Ethyl alcohol denatures proteins and disrupts lipid membranes of microbes, rapidly reducing bacterial and some viral load on the skin. It provides quick action but limited residual (long-lasting) effect.

For external use only. Apply on intact skin using sterile cotton/gauze and allow to air-dry before procedure. Do not apply on large areas or under occlusive dressings unless advised. Not for ingestion or internal use.

Skin dryness, burning/stinging, redness/irritation, allergic contact dermatitis (rare)

Highly flammable—keep away from heat/sparks/open flame. External use only; do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes, mouth and mucous membranes; rinse with plenty of water if contact occurs. Do not use on open wounds, deep cuts, burns or severely irritated skin unless directed by a healthcare professional. Use with caution in infants/young children due to risk of systemic absorption and skin irritation. Keep out of reach of children.

Increased skin irritation with other topical irritants/keratolytics (e.g., retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid), Reduced effectiveness when heavily soiled skin is not cleaned first; do not use with ignition sources during oxygen therapy

Store tightly closed at room temperature, away from sunlight, heat and sources of ignition. Keep in a cool, dry place; do not puncture or expose container to high temperatures.
