Volitra Aps contains Absolute Alcohol (10%v/v) + Diclofenac diethylamine (4.64%w/v). Prescription required.

Relief of pain and inflammation in muscles and joints; backache, sprains, strains, sports injuries, tendinitis, mild arthritis-related pain

Diclofenac is a topical NSAID that reduces prostaglandin formation to decrease pain and inflammation at the site. Methyl salicylate and menthol act as counterirritants producing a warming/cooling sensation that helps relieve pain. Linseed oil acts as an emollient and may aid penetration and soothing of affected area.

For external use only. Apply a thin layer to the affected area and gently rub until absorbed, usually 3-4 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Wash hands after application; avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken/irritated skin; do not cover with tight bandage or apply heat unless advised.

Application site burning, redness, itching, rash, dryness, irritation

Do not use on broken skin, eczema, infected areas or near eyes/mucosa. Stop use and consult a doctor if rash, severe irritation or allergy occurs. Use with caution in people allergic to NSAIDs/aspirin, with asthma, or with history of NSAID-induced reactions. Avoid excessive use over large areas; risk of systemic NSAID effects is low but possible, especially with prolonged use. Not recommended for children unless advised by a physician.

Other NSAIDs (topical or oral), anticoagulants/antiplatelets (e.g., warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel) if used extensively, other topical products at same site (may increase irritation)

Store at room temperature (below 25-30°C), tightly closed. Protect from heat, direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
