Management of gingivitis and gum inflammation, adjunct in treatment of periodontitis, reduces dental plaque and oral bacterial load, mouth ulcer care and oral hygiene support

Chlorhexidine is a broad-spectrum antiseptic that binds to oral tissues and disrupts bacterial cell membranes, reducing plaque-forming bacteria. Added Vitamin C may support gum healing and reduces oxidative stress in inflamed oral tissues.

Use as a mouthwash. Rinse with 10–15 mL undiluted for 30–60 seconds and spit out, usually 2 times daily or as directed by dentist/doctor. Do not swallow. Avoid eating/drinking for 30 minutes after use; use after brushing (wait ~5–10 min after toothpaste to reduce inactivation).

Altered taste, burning/irritation in mouth, dry mouth, temporary numbness, tooth/tongue staining, increased tartar, mouth soreness, nausea if swallowed

For oral rinse use only; do not swallow. Prolonged use may cause staining of teeth/tongue and increased calculus; dental cleaning may be needed. Stop and seek advice if rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, severe irritation, or persistent ulcers occur. Avoid contact with eyes/ears. In children, use only on medical advice and supervise to prevent swallowing.

Toothpastes/mouth products containing anionic surfactants (e.g., sodium lauryl sulfate) may reduce chlorhexidine effect—separate by 5–10 minutes. Avoid using simultaneously with other antiseptic mouthwashes unless advised.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Keep bottle tightly closed and protect from direct light and heat. Keep out of reach of children.
