Adjunct treatment for inflammation and swelling (oedema) due to trauma, sprains/strains, sports injuries, post-operative swelling; helps relieve pain and bruising.

Trypsin and bromelain are proteolytic enzymes that help break down inflammatory proteins and reduce tissue swelling. Rutoside (rutin) is a flavonoid that stabilizes capillaries and reduces fluid leakage, helping decrease oedema and bruising.

Tablet for oral use. Take as prescribed by doctor; commonly taken 2-3 times daily. Preferably take on an empty stomach (about 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals) with water; swallow whole.

Nausea, stomach upset, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, rash, itching, allergic reactions

Use with caution in patients with bleeding disorders, peptic ulcer disease, severe liver/kidney disease, and before/after surgery (may increase bleeding risk). Stop and seek medical help if signs of allergy occur (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty). Not a substitute for antibiotics when infection is present; consult doctor if pain/swelling persists.

Anticoagulants/antiplatelets (warfarin, heparin, aspirin, clopidogrel) may increase bleeding risk; NSAIDs may add to bleeding/GI irritation risk; other drugs affecting coagulation—monitor. Possible interaction with antibiotics such as amoxicillin/tetracyclines reported for bromelain (may alter absorption)—use under medical advice.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from moisture and light. Keep out of reach of children.
