The details
What changes an amount.
- Cancelled and failed visits
- The lab fee and the phlebotomist earning are posted when a collection completes. A cancelled visit, or a visit that could not collect, is not charged or paid as a completed collection.
- Boosts
- When a job has waited without being taken, the lab portal may suggest a boost. The lab chooses whether to add it. A boost is added to the lab's fee for that job and goes entirely to the phlebotomist.
- Sample problems
- If a lab reports a problem with a sample, PingMeDoc reviews it and adjusts the charge where the collector was at fault.
- Cash at the door
- Cash the phlebotomist collects from a patient belongs to the lab. It reduces what the lab owes PingMeDoc and is deducted from the phlebotomist's balance.
- Supplies
- Tubes, needles and kits ordered from the platform are priced per item in the app. A phlebotomist can pay from earnings or online.
- Changes to pricing
- The amounts on this page are the current standard rates. The fee and earning for a job are fixed when it is posted and shown in the app.
Questions
Money questions
How are lab fees calculated?
The standard fee is ₹199 for each completed collection. A cancelled or failed visit is not charged as a completed collection. If you add a boost to a job, the boost is added to your fee and goes entirely to the phlebotomist.
How much does a phlebotomist earn?
The standard earning is ₹150 for each completed collection, plus any boost the lab added. The amount is shown on the job before you take it and is added when the lab confirms receipt.
How does cash collection work?
The lab enters the cash to collect when posting. The phlebotomist collects that amount at the door and records it. The cash belongs to the lab, so it is set off against what the lab owes PingMeDoc and against what PingMeDoc owes the phlebotomist.
What is cash held?
Cash a phlebotomist collected from patients and still holds. It is deducted from their earnings when the balance is worked out.
How do payouts work?
Earnings build up in the phlebotomist's balance. Payouts are sent to the UPI id or bank account in their profile every week.
Can I buy collection supplies?
Yes. Registered labs and phlebotomists can order tubes, needles and kits from the same account. A phlebotomist can pay from earnings or online.
